Important dates for Executive MBA
Executive MBA is conducted by many B-schools in the country. Different B-schools have different admission procedures. Some institutes take students on the basis of their GMAT score while other institutes conduct their own entrance exams. After selecting a set number of students on the basis of their entrance test scores, they are called for a personal interview.
There are so many procedures that are to be followed to take an admission for an executive MBA Programme. Some of the dates that candidates will have to remember and take note of are:
- Date from which application form for the course will be available
- Last date to get the application form
- Last date for the submission of the form
- The date by which you are suppose to get your admit card for the entrance exam
- Entrance exam date
- Date for the personal interview, if selected
- Date for the group discussion (if applicable), if selected
- Date from which the course will commence
- Induction week dates
Application for the following programmes begins in March – April.
IIM PGPX (One Year Post-Graduate Programme in Management for Executives)
MET (Mumbai educational Trust) which conducts the part-time Executive MBA Degree Programme. The programme enables executives to pursue advanced studies in their chosen area of specialization like Human Resource Development, Finance, Marketing and Information. Usually, the last date to send the application is in the second week of April. This year, 2009, the last date to send the application is April 9th and the entrance test is going to be held on 12th of April.
Institute for Technology and Management Business School, Navi Mumbai, which conducts its 15 months full-time programme specializations in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking opens up it admission in April and usually the last date for the application is in June second week.
