Indian Colleges Offering Executive MBA

When it comes to Executive MBA, top-most institutes all over India are on their feet to take deserving professionals for their Executive MBA. Almost, all the institutes which offer normal MBA have made way for an Executive MBA programme at their respective premises. Be it Symbiosis Institute of Management or ISB-Hyderabad, all institutes offer Executive MBA. Duration does vary from institute to institute. Executive MBA at Symbiosis Institute of Management asks for more than 2 and a half years while at some other institutes, it is more than 15 months.

AICTE has laid down few strict regulations which ask institutes to call for classes whose duration should be more than 12 months. If any institute fails to include classes for 12 months in its curriculum, then the course which it offers would be considered as a certificate course. An endless list of benefits comes along with an Executive MBA but it’s not that easy to get into top-most colleges. Eligibility criterion varies from one institute to another. Institutes like IIM-Ahmadabad and IIM-Bangalore do ask for experience of more than 5 years and it is required that the candidate’s age must no be less than 27 years.

Along with years of experience, one needs to go through certain examinations and few rounds of personal interview at instate premises. Some institutes like ISB-Hyderabad considers scores from reputed exams like GMAT while institutes like Symbiosis Institute of Management ask candidates to appear in a written test conducted by them. In any institute, you’d be questioned many times on the work which you carried throughout your experience. Moreover, they would leave you in situations where the decision taken will decide the chances of your admission.
